City administrators have to manage and distribute a lot of information to several different audiences. From recruiting new businesses to promoting a farmer’s market, from offering a portal to pay city fines to helping citizens interact with public works, a city’s website has to work hard to answer ongoing questions and needs.
The City of Woodruff (SC) turned to A-LINE for help in taking a more strategic approach to its website by organizing information, content, links and more, and tying it all together in a visually consistent way that promotes the look and feel of this welcoming city. The new site would prove both helpful and appealing to city residents, visitors and businesses alike.

A-LINE worked closely with city administrators and staff to sort through the massive amount of content, links, forms, and documents that the site had to support. We designed an intuitive labeling system to prompt users with visual cues that would help them quickly locate information and understand where each link would take them. Smart back-end programming ensures that future updates on the site will automatically adhere to the system, making it foolproof for in-house staff as well as end users.
The city was so pleased with the website design that it reached out to A-LINE for help producing additional promotional materials, including a newsletter template, pocket folders and more. We look forward to collaborating on even more opportunities and playing a role in the City of Woodruff's brand image now and for years to come.
